My Name is Torbjorn Schandall. I am a graduate of Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, California, with two certificates in Multimedia and Web Design.

I created this web site to present my digital creations to the world, in the form of an online portfolio. In the past three years, I have begun a tremendous amount of multimedia projects. Some of my work is professional, some of it is personal. It is all an exploration and a learning process.

This site, created as an option to the Flash Version, contains all my multimedia projects, in their many forms.

I am now based in New York City, looking for projects that will help me grow as a professional digital artist and designer.

In the Beginning
I started being artistic when I was just little, with drawings and music. I started drumming when I was seven or eight, and continued with music until high school was finished, then I played in a band in Canada for six years. That band was relatively successful in many ways, regardless of its demise. It gave me a chance to believe in myself.

After two years in Vancouver, Canada, I headed south to California and began a project with musicians of similar breed. Again, that band was a valuable learning experience, but was difficult to let go.

As audio technology became more affordable, I acquired a Mac, and a mini disc recorder, and found some awesome recording software. Then I went to college, to learn how to promote myself online.

I rediscovered education. In Santa Cruz, CA, I studied Multimedia and finished with honors.

I continue to study on my own, now in New York City, with a new interest in video post-production, even as school is over for now. I am still actively involved in music, engineering for musicians, and playing. I have some good ideas for music videos that I would like to implement, possibly for some of the songs by Charlie Zag and Uwawa that I have worked with.
